Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering on, or using the BeyondLimits platform (including our website at www.lespastoureaux.com and any associated mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the platform on behalf of another person (for example, as a caregiver assisting someone with an intellectual disability), you confirm that you have proper legal authority to do so.

Account Registration and Security

When creating a BeyondLimits account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain only one account per person - duplicate accounts will be removed
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
  • Complete our selfie-video verification process to activate messaging features
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. BeyondLimits is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.

User Conduct and Prohibited Behavior

BeyondLimits exists to provide a safe, respectful space for people with disabilities to form genuine connections. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination:

  • Devotee activity and fetishization - engaging with members for the purpose of fetishizing or sexualizing their disability. BeyondLimits uses AI-powered detection to identify devotee behavior patterns, and all confirmed cases result in a permanent ban.
  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation - including unwanted sexual advances, threats, stalking, or repeated unwelcome contact after being asked to stop
  • Fake profiles or impersonation - creating accounts with false identities, using another person's photos, or misrepresenting your disability status
  • Scams and fraud - soliciting money, promoting financial schemes, phishing for personal data, or any form of financial exploitation
  • Hate speech or discrimination - language or behavior targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability type
  • Sharing others' medical information - disclosing another member's disability details, diagnoses, or health status without their explicit written consent
  • Solicitation - using the platform for commercial purposes, advertising, or promoting external products or services without prior authorization
  • Harmful content - posting content that promotes self-harm, violence, illegal activity, or substance abuse

If you witness any prohibited behavior, report it using the in-app report function or email [email protected]. Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours. For more information, see our Safety Tips.

User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you post on BeyondLimits, including profile text, photos, and messages. By posting content, you grant BeyondLimits a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

You agree not to upload content that is:

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Violent, threatening, or graphic in nature
  • Discriminatory or degrading toward any individual or group
  • Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of third parties

BeyondLimits reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice. All platform branding, design elements, features, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of BeyondLimits and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed.

Platform Rights and Services

BeyondLimits is committed to providing an accessible, inclusive dating experience in line with the consumer model of disability - ensuring people with disabilities have equal access to our services, not merely as a legal obligation, but as a core business principle.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue features at any time to improve the platform experience
  • Perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily limit service availability
  • Adjust pricing for premium subscription tiers with 30 days' notice to affected subscribers

BeyondLimits does not guarantee that you will receive matches, responses, or form relationships through the platform. We provide the tools and community - outcomes depend on individual interactions.

Limitation of Liability

BeyondLimits provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • BeyondLimits is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other members
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of member profiles or the conduct of any user
  • We are not responsible for any harm resulting from in-person meetings arranged through the platform
  • Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to BeyondLimits in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government actions

Account Suspension and Termination

BeyondLimits may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate any provision of these Terms & Conditions
  • Receive multiple verified reports of prohibited behavior from other members
  • Fail to complete identity verification within 30 days of registration
  • Maintain an inactive account for more than 24 consecutive months

If your account is suspended, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed within 10 business days. Upon termination, your profile and messages will be permanently deleted within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may voluntarily delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis, and you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against BeyondLimits.

Modifications to These Terms

BeyondLimits reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify registered members via email and an in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of modified terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. Material changes - including modifications to dispute resolution, liability, or prohibited behavior definitions - require your active consent through an in-app confirmation prompt.
